Process
Mira translated the Japanese script and adapted it to lip sync. Kuzgun ran two casting reads per character. Recording happened in four different homes on the same mic chain, and Ekin matched everything to a single room tone.
Challenge
The Japanese lines were noticeably shorter than Turkish; a literal translation ran past the mouth movements.
Solution
We built a syllable-count sheet per scene and wrote shorter phrasings that kept the meaning. For 14 key lines we asked the rights holder to sign off separately.
