Process
From brief to delivery, in six steps.
Every project goes through the same steps in the same order. We don't skip any, because a skipped step usually comes back during revisions.
01Process
- 01
Brief
We talk through the production, the audience, the length and the delivery requirements. Permission is settled here; without it, the project doesn't start.
- 02
Casting and assignment
At least two casting reads per character. The dubbing director listens to them in context and makes the assignments.
- 03
Recording
Artists record at their own spots, following the technical standards table. The director joins sessions online.
- 04
Mix and master
Dialogue is cleaned, rooms are matched, loudness is brought to target, and music and effects are added if there are any.
- 05
Revisions
We share the preview with the producer. Two rounds of revisions are standard; if more are needed, we plan them together.
- 06
Delivery
Final files are delivered in the requested format, following the naming scheme. The project page goes live with the rights holder's approval.
02Notes
How long does it take?
A short commercial read takes a few days; a 10–15 minute animation dub usually takes 6–10 weeks. We’re all volunteers, so we’re honest about the schedule from the start.
