Frequently asked

Do you charge for your work?

No. We accept no fee, donation or consideration of any kind for fan productions. The details are on the Transparency page.

Do you voice works without permission?

We ask for permission first whenever we can. Where we can't obtain it, we say so clearly on the project page, and if the rights holder asks, we take the content down immediately.

Can I work with you on my own project?

Yes. Write to the address on the Contact page with your project, its length and its permission status. If our schedule allows, we'll plan it together.

Can I use the voices in your demos in my project?

No. Demos are for listening only. If you'd like to work with an artist, write to us.

How do I join the team?

Fill in the form on the Join the team page. No experience required; regular participation and openness to feedback are enough.

Which languages do you work in?

Our main language is Turkish. Some artists also speak English and Japanese, and we can translate and adapt scripts.

Why do you record in home studios?

Renting a studio isn't sustainable for a volunteer team. Instead, we make sure everyone records to the same technical standard.

Policies

Aletheia produces non-profit fan-made work. All rights to the works we voice belong to their owners.

  1. We are not the rights holders. The title, artwork, music and characters of the original belong to its rights holders. Our contribution is only the voice performance and the technical work.
  2. Permission comes first. We ask for written permission for every project where it’s possible, and state the permission status on the project page.
  3. No commercial use. We earn no income from our fan productions and accept no ads, donations or sponsorship.
  4. Attribution. Every post credits the original work, its producer and its rights holder.
  5. The official version comes first. When an official Turkish dub is released, we consider removing our fan dub and point viewers to the official version.

Takedown policy

If a rights holder or their authorised representative asks for our content to be removed:

  • Send the request to haklar@aletheiatr.com.
  • We accept the request without asking for a reason.
  • We remove the content from all our channels within 72 hours at the latest.
  • We confirm the removal in writing.

Usage permissions

The demos, text and design on this site belong to the Aletheia team and are for personal listening and review only. You may use the logo and images in the press kit for news and promotional purposes, provided they represent Aletheia accurately.
